"We are very glad that the construction of UNIQ Staromestská is proceeding as planned thanks to the work of our experienced team of project designers and architects. In a location which is complicated in terms of logistics, we managed to construct a unique project in a relatively short period of time for demanding clients who are very interested in this prestigious address in accessible area. By the end of the year, we are going to start the final inspection of UNIQ Staromestská building, which will be followed by evaluation for LEED certificate," said Managing Director of Cresco Group developer company, Ján Krnáč.

After its completion, UNIQ Staromestská aims to obtain green LEED certificate, level Gold. Main advantages of a green building with the gold certificate include lower operating costs (i.e. energy saving, efficient water consumption), lower CO₂ emissions and a healthy work environment created in harmony with the environment.

UNIQ Staromestská has been a unique project with exceptional world-class architecture since the very beginning. The building with glass façade is sensitively placed in the surrounding environment. The developer of the project, Cresco Group, managed to complement buildings on the busy Staromestská street with a unique design and high standard of the newly constructed building.  "We brought a new standard and new quality of architecture and construction of modern buildings to the context of a varied urban structure of Old Town area. The centre of Bratislava will be enriched with a premium office space with above-standard equipment of common areas and concierge services for clients," said Ján Krnáč.

The unique design was created by international architecture studio Bogle Architects founded by a renowned architect Ian Bogle: "Since the very beginning of the design process of UNIQ Staromestská, we had to bear in mind a delicate but modern intervention into the historical structure of the city of Bratislava. Very characteristic buildings in the surrounding area immediately made me think of a design with rounded, almost feminine shapes as a contrast to the rich texture of the city. Placing a modern administration building into a historical context – according to me, this is what brings truly unique liveliness to Bratislava.

At the beginning of April 2017, UNIQ Staromestská will become the seat of a respected law firm Čechová & Partners. "The design of the building immediately caught our attention, as it stands out from the relatively uniform trend of other modern buildings in Bratislava prevalent in recent years. We were also attracted by the location which combines benefits of a practical business centre with the very centre of the city. As we are a law firm, short distance to the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Court and the Congress Centre of the Slovak Parliament is just icing on the cake," said Tomáš Rybár, Managing Partner at Čechová & Partners.
